I am going back to Brazil, and I need your help!!

I am SO excited to let you know that in December already, I will be returning to Brazil. After having spent the summer there, I have fallen in love with many aspects of the country. The hospitality, the people, the music, the food -- it was an incredible and eye-opening experience for me.

During the winter school that I attended there at FMUSP, I had the pleasure of getting to know about a very special project called Bandeira Científica . At the Bandeira, students and medical specialists will spend 2 weeks in a part of Brazil where access to healthcare is much lower than in other areas. I am so incredibly grateful to share that I have the opportunity to be part of the project this year, and that I will be travelling to the Amazon with many students and specialists from the FMUSP and Hospital das Clínicas.

For me, this project is extracurricular and voluntary. It is something that I want to be a part of because it aligns with my values and standards, and I think it is INCREDIBLE that we can realize a large-scale project like this! However, being the only foreign student in this extracurricular expedition, it is a bit more challenging to fund my travels. Because of that, I have thought of a creative way to realize it!

As the project will take place around the holidays, I have designed a 7-pack of Brazil-themed Christmas and New Year cards that you can share with and send to all of your friends and family! The cards have a little legenda, that explain the puns on the cards and show the significance as part of the Brazilian culture. The cards will be printed on sustainable materials, which might alter the colours of the designs.
