Help Me Help Others at Ritsona!

After volunteering with the IRC in the US over the years, I am heading to Greece to volunteer at the Ritsona refugee camp later this year in my first overseas refugee volunteer program.

I am raising funds that go to a number of things within the program: volunteer program fees, in-country staff and most importantly, programs that directly support the local Ritsona Camp refugee community like the eye clinic, the women's room and the supply distribution center.

It's not cheap to help sustain a camp, especially now that the initial wave of publicity about the refugee crisis has died down. These programs ask volunteers to raise a substantial amount of money to help sustain the much-needed programs there. I am donating my time and money, but I cannot do it alone!  So, I am reaching out to all of you to help raise those funds!
