Hello everyone, my name is Viannie, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for help for my family back home in Congo, Kinshasa.

I am the oldest daughter in my family. I came to the UK a few years ago with my uncle, and since then, I’ve been doing my best to support my parents and two younger siblings who are still in Congo. Unfortunately, the situation back home has become extremely difficult as many have seen in the news, Congo is going through very hard times. Jobs are scarce, the economy is unstable, and corruption makes it even harder for families like mine to survive.

My family depends on me to help with school fees, food, and rent, but with my modest income here in the UK, I can only do so much. After paying my own bills, I send what I can every month, but it’s never enough to cover all their needs.

I’m doing my very best, but lately, things have reached a point where I can’t manage it alone anymore. I have no one else to turn to, and that’s why I’ve created this GoFundMe.

I truly believe that God has put it on my heart to step out in faith and ask for help. The Bible says, “Ask, and it shall be given unto you.” I don’t usually ask for help but I believe this is the right time to trust that there are kind hearts out there who might be moved to help.

Every little bit will make a huge difference for my family to keep my siblings in school, to make sure they have food, and to help my parents have a bit of peace in such hard times.
