Help me help Heroines and their families

Story

Hello, my name is David Muggleton. After Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022 I decided to help the people fleeing across the border into Poland. I rented a car and spent 2 weeks taking them from Przemysl to their onward destinations and providing as much support as possible. After leaving them at their destination I realised that they would need further help in the cities where they had been taken. I was introduced to a Ukrainian aid centre now known as 33biskupia.eu in Gdansk who have been supporting the refugees since the start of the war. In February 2024 I was invited to become one of 6 founders of our charity foundation. With a current 993,000 refugees in Poland I felt that this is where we could help the most in Europe. Every 3 months since April 2022 we have fundraised and visited 33biskupia to provide food and hygiene products for the visitors to the centre who are mainly elderly, Women with children and new arrivals who are unable to work and provide for themselves. All of the products are purchased personally by us in Gdansk which means we incur no transport costs and we pay for all of our travel and accommodation. This means that 100% of the money raised is spent on the people who still need our help. On the 26th of May I will be returning to Gdansk and I am asking for any donations that you can afford to help us support the Ukrainian refugees who rely on us while the conflict continues.
