My name is Deirdre, I go by Dee. I haven’t let many people know about what was going on with me just because I really keep to myself. I’m as of now just shy of 25 weeks pregnant.

Wednesday night, I was heading to bed and felt like I was about to pee my pants and I felt a small dribble down my leg. It turned out I was bleeding, and I lost a lot of it. I was taken to the hospital via ambulance and later taken to Madison by ambulance. I am being induced to have my little man because it is causing my own health to decline. He has a poor prognosis himself, so I’m showing symptoms of mirroring syndrome where I reflect what’s happening to him on the inside.

I don’t ask for a lot of help, but with this going on and not even knowing when I’ll be released from the hospital and taking time off to grieve, I will be out of work for a while. I want to still be able to give my son Sam a Christmas and celebrate his 12th birthday (on 12/28) and not fall behind on everyday needs and bills. Anything would help immensely, even if it’s just sharing. Thank you.
