Looking for Community: A Long-Awaited Family Reunion

Hi! My name is Sima Bzr. Im from Palestine and I have been a refugee in Ecuador for 5 years. I havent seen my family this whole time due to a lot of complications but mainly because of distance and, therefore, the costs of traveling and all are very high for my financial status right now.

I have a job that doesnt pay that well and the situation here in Ecuador has been also bad so my ability to save money has been very very limited. The government here has increased the taxes on everything and prices continue to rise so its been hard to keep up, especially while receiving 70% of my salary because the company I work for is not doing well either.

My family lives in the Westbank, Palestine, and because of the situation there, the restrictions on mobility because of the violent settlers on the roads, the israeli govt is not paying back the taxes that belong to the Palestinian govt, and the overall mourning and grief people are going through there, the economy is dead.

I´m still on a refugee status here, in the process of starting my citizenship application. So, as a refugee, I still can't go back to Palestine, so I decided to meet my family in Jordan, Amman.

My plan is to see my family, hopefully, in June or July of next year.

These expenses will cover my flights and the accommodation I need to get for all of us.
