**Help Me Give My Parents a Decent Place to Call Home**

Hello, my name is Esther (Estera), and I’m reaching out to share my family’s story and ask for your kindness.

Just a few days ago, on **8th August 2025**, my father suffered a stroke. He is now in the hospital, fighting for his life and working hard to recover. Sadly, this isn’t the first time my family has faced such a challenge. In **2019**, my mother also suffered a stroke, which left her struggling to walk.

My parents live in a small village in Romania, in my grandparents’ house — a home that is over 100 years old, perched on a hill. Unfortunately, the living conditions are extremely difficult. There is no proper toilet, no proper shower, and no heating system — things that are especially critical for their medical and hygiene needs.

Right now, my biggest wish is to give them **basic human living conditions**:

* An **indoor bathroom and toilet** suitable for their disabilities

* A **heating system** to keep them warm and safe in the winter

To make this possible, I’m trying to raise **£10,000**. This will help create a space where they can live with dignity, comfort, and safety — something they desperately need as they recover and face the future.
