Help me get to the YDA Philly Convention 16th-19th of July

Ever since I was young, I wanted to achieve change in my local community, first through my local youth council, then by running for national parliament, engaging in NGOs on a local, regional and national level in Finland. After years of gaining experience, I served several years on boards of international youth NGOs in Europe, before taking the step to engage in US politics through Democrats Abroad. I quickly step in to the role of National Councilman in Young Democrats of America and became Country Committee Chair of Democrats Abroad Finland. Now I am asking for your help to represent Democrats Abroad at the Philly Convention this July 16th-19th.

Participating in YDA events as someone living overseas is costly for a single delegate. Even though costs are high, having the perspective of Americans living abroad at YDA is vital. There are millions of Americans living abroad. They include students, military service persons, teenagers and other young people looking for opportunities outside the USA. YDA has strengthened their knowledge about us living abroad but voting and participating actively as democrats.

The funds will be used to cover travel flights internationally and travel in the USA to and from the convention city, hotels, meals and the participation cost. The funds will not be used for election specific donations, or donations to side events or alcohol. The funds are collected in Finland with the fundraising permit RA/2025/907 and is limited to 10000€ within a three month period starting June 26th 2025. The funds are reported to Finnish authorities and collected to a designated account. Here is an approximate cost calculation of the trip:

I am thankful for any support to reach my goal to participate in-person at this vital convention, raising the voices of Americans living abroad and further increasing our co-operation with Democratic leaders in all 50 states, territories and stakeholders near the party.
