Hello, my name is Ella, and I need your support to join a truly transformative project in The Gambia I have been given the incredible opportunity to take part in Football 4 Peace (F4P) in Easter 2025 ads part of my university studies. This is an initiative that uses the power of sport to bring communities together, promote peace, and teach essential life skills to young people across several Gambian villages.

Through this programme, it’s not just about teaching football. It’s about fostering peace, understanding, and cooperation among children and young adults from diverse communities. In areas where civil society is fragile and resources are limited, sport becomes a way to build mutual respect, trust, and lasting friendships.

The Impact of F4P:

In the villages of Kartong, Gunjur, Medina Salem, and Berending, we work hand-in-hand with local coaches to teach young people not only sport skills, but also values like fair play, teamwork, and good citizenship. Even though we speak different languages, this programme communicates through the universal language of sport.

Why I Need Your Help:

To participate in this incredible initiative, I need to raise funds to cover my travel, vaccinations, and other necessary expenses to get to The Gambia. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people while learning from a unique and enriching experience that will shape my future in sport and community development.
