Hi, my name is James, and I run Mountain Garden Rescue — a project where I clear and restore overgrown gardens completely for free for people in genuine need.

These jobs are often massive — tons of rubbish, brambles taller than me, and heavy commercial waste — and I usually work entirely on my own. On my last job, I seriously injured my back lifting and hauling everything by hand.

To keep doing these rescues safely, I’m fundraising for a power barrow (a motorised wheelbarrow). It would take the strain off my back, help me move heavy waste efficiently, and let me keep helping families who can’t afford garden clean-ups.

Every penny raised will go directly toward the power barrow and any necessary attachments to keep it running on-site.
