I am a British national who recently went through a divorce and now find myself alone in Kentucky. Adjusting to a new life here has been challenging, but I am determined to make new friends, start a business, and build a future for myself. One of the biggest obstacles I face right now is not having a car, which makes it incredibly difficult to get to work, meet people, and pursue opportunities that could help me get back on my feet.

Having a vehicle would give me the freedom to earn an income, support myself, and help my nonprofit work. I have a degree in sociology with psychology and have spent years working with the homeless, which has inspired me to create positive change in my community. My dream is to open a community-based safe haven store in Scottsville, where marginalized local people can find employment and support. But to make this vision a reality, I first need reliable transportation.

Right now, I have no income and am relying on the kindness of others to help me take the first step.
