Fundraising for my Eagle Project
Donation protected
My name is Jacob Rasnow, and I am a Life Scout in Troop 33, based out of Brick, NJ. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout project. I am planning to complete my Eagle Project before school starts again in September. For my project, I am updating almost 200 fire hydrants by placing a reflective sticker that identifies each hydrant. I will also be adding 5ft visibility rods on 60 of the hydrants. This will make it easier not only for the firefighters but for the snow plow drivers as well. I have included a photo of what a completed hydrant would look like. As you can see, there are two stickers: a serial number and a BMUA sticker. I have also included an image of the visibility rod. While most of the equipment and stickers have been provided, the rods are not and they are quite expensive. This is where I need your help. The visibility rods are $26.95 each. I committed to adding 60 of the rods, which is approximately $1,617. The other things that I need fundraising for, are food and water for my fellow scouts that have agreed to help with my project, liquid cleaner and some tools. Everything that you donate has to be spent on my project, nothing goes into my pocket. It would mean the world to me if you even donated $1! Thank you so much for your consideration!
