Help me fund a bionic arm!

I was born missing my left arm below the elbow. Since the age of 3 I've worn various types of torture contraptions/prosthetic arms, from the hideous 'split hook' that left me with physical scars and lots of interesting nicknames, to an extremely heavy and impractical myoelectric arm. Now I wear a simple cosmetic, life-like arm that basically does nothing other than prop things up, steady the handlebars on my bike and makes a great pincushion on the odd occasion I need to thread a needle! It really holds me back and makes me self conscious. I'm at an age now where I can embrace and celebrate my difference, and my disability has made me the person that I am. But I want to be able to do the little things that most people take for granted... To do up a zip, tie my laces, hold a mug of coffee at the same time as opening a door, to be able to actually slice a tomato or peel a potato (the bane of my life). Throughout my life I've striven to be independent and find my own way of doing things, and the phrase 'you'll never be able to do that' has always inspired me to work harder. My job entails training others, and of course my arm is always very visible and I'm conscious of how awkward I look. I've always been involved in youth volunteering and have made it my mission to spread disability awareness and be a good role model, showing young men, women and children that they can achieve anything and their differences don't matter. In my spare time I play full contact roller derby and feel invincible as my alter ego Violet Impact. But as soon as my skates are off, I'm back to struggling with things like zips. I'm a founding member of Team GB Junior Roller Derby and have coached juniors for years. In fact one of the proudest moments in my life was getting this brand new team of under 18 year olds to the junior world cup in Philadelphia and showing them anything is possible, despite their differences So I've decided to start my ‘Hero Arm’ journey with Open Bionics to explore who Beverley v2.0 might actually be, and the prospect of wearing a prosthetic arm with moving fingers fills me with such excitement! Unfortunately these arms aren’t available on the NHS and I need to raise at least £10,000 initially for the arm and a further £3000 to cover the cost of the extended warranty and travel to Bristol for fittings over the next 3 years. Coaching, tutoring and empowering others has always been a huge part of my life, and a bionic arm will help me immensely. I would also like to use it to spread disability awareness in schools and youth groups and to show that technology can be used to change people's lives. Thank you SO much for helping me become bionic!
