Hi there! As many of you know, my name is Aster Pedersen-Pettway and I could really use some assistance at the moment! I recently had to move from Arizona to Oregon due to a medical emergency causing me to need care that I did not have access to in my previous state, as well as to be with my partner, Alyx, who I love very much. I had initially planned to move a bit later, but the timeline moving up suddenly has me in a huge bind financially.

Because I had to leave AZ suddenly, almost all of my belongings are still in my apartment out there, as well as a storage unit. Health has been making traveling back down really difficult because it's still really unstable - been in and out of inpatient hospital stays numerous times since February and am actually currently admitted at the moment (hopefully not for long!) - and it's made it pretty much impossible to make the trip.

Alongside this, funds are also a huge issue - I no longer have income due to my current health situation, which makes covering urgent expenses extra difficult, especially since my partner is also disabled / chronically ill. Luckily, fully moving out of AZ and with my partner officially will really cut down on bills, which will be a huge weight off of my shoulders - now, I just need to get down there to make the move. Issue is that even the trip down costs a ton of money and we just don't have access to a large chunk of funds like that at the moment.

Alongside this, because I haven't been able to get down there and make the move, I am still stuck paying for both my rent and my storage unit. I've been trying to get back down to AZ since the beginning of April at this point. I think that my health is starting to stabilize somewhat, but that doesn't make a huge difference in actually getting down there to move out officially if I can't get the funds to afford the trip + the bills I still need to pay to keep from getting evicted in the interim.

So yeah, TL;DR: I really need help. My kitty cat, Artemis, who is a huge source of emotional support for me, is still down in Arizona. Same goes for my wheelchair and all of my belongings aside from the duffel bag I brought with me on the plane in April. Between my health being so unstable right now and lack of access to my wheelchair, I've been almost entirely housebound since about December. Having my partner around has made a huge difference regarding my mental health / ability to cope with everything, but it's still very wearing to be unable to leave your home for anything but medical appointments, ER visits, and hospital stays.

Goal is currently $3000 - honestly, that still isn't quite enough to cover everything, and I'm probably gonna end up in significant debt, but it's at least enough to cover another month of rent/storage and the car trip there and back. Any help that y'all can provide would be greatly appreciated - things are really looking up now that I am out of Arizona, but there's a ton of loose ends to tie up still and between that and my health being super unpredictable I am still really stressed out about it all.
