Help me fulfill this one last wish for my mom.

Hi, my name is Ajahnai, the daughter of Marsha Cleveland (Hill). Here is a little back story about my mother. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer about eight years ago. Throughout, it has been an emotionally, physically, and mentally straining time. In 2014, my mom went in for a hysterectomy for concerns regarding cysts, not knowing three years prior the tumors had already begun to grow. Within those years she was developing physiological changes such as extreme bloating, rapid weight gain, irregular bowel movements, and chronic pain surrounding her reproductive area. The doctors ended up finding one 6.5lb and two grapefruit-sized tumours explaining the true cause of the symptoms she was experiencing. Post-surgery, she was in recovery and doing well for about 6-9 months until the initial symptoms resurfaced. After doing some further testing and blood work, she was officially diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage four. Now came the decision of whether or not to go through with chemo, which she did and beat it! We gathered together with loved ones and celebrated such a momentous time. However, four months later, during a check-up, the cancer was back. This became a repetitive occurrence over the years. My mother has overcome this battle five consecutive times. Each chemo treatment drew out various side effects on her body such as hair loss, fatigue, and nausea. Yet she is still here fighting like the champ she is. Up until recently, from 2023 into 2024, some new symptoms that have arisen are weight loss, fingernail loss, burning from neuropathy on her hands, feet, and legs, loss of her hair for the last 3 years, as well as cracked and burning skin from various amount of chemo treatments over the years. She still continues to go through treatment and I have suffered tremendously watching her go through these trying times. Nonetheless, whilst her battle especially, I have also witnessed her be the most selfless individual. All of my life she has been an example to me of what it really means to help so many persons and families who desperately needed an earth angel. She has always been one who doesn’t know how to sit down, that is often what people say when describing her. I always wished my mom could catch a break, especially through such a vulnerable time. Although, as of late, she has found herself wanting to live her days in solitude. Knowing this I reminisced on the thought that I had as a child of always wanting to take my mom on a trip to Dubai when I got older. Given that I’m 22 years old, I feel like now more than ever time is of the essence to put these manifestations into action. However, I am unable to make this happen alone. I feel like we are running out of time. It would mean the world to me if you could find it in the kindness of your heart to contribute towards helping my mom go on her dream vacation. This is one of the most important things that I have ever wanted to do for her in my life. I was hoping to reach a goal of $15,000 by mid-March to pay for a comfortable return flight to help get us both there. I really love my mom and It would warm me forever to have this memory. Lastly, to be able to say I took my mother on a trip where she could be in paradise on Earth, one last time. For those who know my mom as a track star, let's all embrace her and get her to this finish line.
