We bought our house in March of 2017. My husband was diagnosed with cancer in May of 2017. My husband is a stay at home to take care of our son, while I work to pay the bills. Last September, I was injured at work and since then, my hours have been cut to just three days a week. With bills piling up and the cost of living rising, it's become nearly impossible to save up for the materials I need to fix my roof. The roof needs to be properly connected to my house, and until that's done, I can't start working on the inside or make my home safe and comfortable again.
This situation has been really stressful. Every month, I have to choose between paying a bill or putting food on the table. The longer the roof goes unfixed, the more worried I get about further damage and the safety of my home. Fixing the roof would finally let me move forward and start making repairs inside, giving me some much-needed peace of mind.
I'm reaching out for help because I can't do this alone. Any support—no matter the amount—would mean the world to me right now. Thank you for considering helping out during this tough time. Your kindness and generosity would make a huge difference in my life.
