Help Me Finish My Van Build — So I Can Keep Showing Up for the Work I Love

Hey friends,

So here’s the deal, in January my trusty Subaru Forester fatally died (transmission). Since then, I’ve been hustling hard, and I’m proud to say I secured a van just in time for my summer work season. Now I’m in the final stretch of building it out, and could use a little community magic to bring it all together! This has been a long standing dream that is finally coming to fruition, so I have immense gratitude for anyone that is willing to help.

I’m hoping to raise $1,000 to wrap up my build.

Here’s where it’s going:

50% for an off-grid fridge/freezer, so I have access to more food options off grid.

50% for lumber, screws, and adhesive to finish building out the bed and kitchen setup.

I’ve already resealed the roof, and the bed frame and kitchen are well on their way, but this last bit of support would help me finish strong!

A little about me: I work security at festivals and live music events around the West Coast. I love what I do; I get to support spaces that bring people together and help keep everyone safe while the music flows. I’m building a real future in this work, and It’s a job where I finally feel respected, valued, and part of something meaningful.

This van is my next step, giving me a more comfortable, reliable way to travel and live while I work on the road. It’s already been a game-changer, and with a little help, it’ll be fully ready for the season ahead.
