Hello everyone. My name is Bababunmi but everyone calls me Babu. I moved to Canada as an international student to pursue my lifelong dream of working in public safety. Currently, I am enrolled in the Protection, Security and Investigation (PSI) diploma program at Mohawk College. I have just 2 semesters left. My ultimate goal is to become a licensed Private Investigator, using my skills to uncover the truth and solve complex cases. However, I have hit a critical financial roadblock that threatens to cut my education short.

I don’t just study security,I live it. To help support myself and gain hands-on experience, I currently work in the security industry as a bouncer. This job has taught me real-world crisis de-escalation, risk assessment, and how to keep people safe under pressure. Every single day, I balance the exhausting physical demands of working late nights in security with the heavy academic workload at Mohawk College. I love what I do, and I am fully committed, but the soaring costs of living and studying in Canada have become too heavy to carry alone.

As an international student, my tuition fees are significantly higher, and I face strict legal limits on the number of hours I am allowed to work each week. Despite saving every dollar from my bouncer shifts and exhausting my family's savings, I am facing an urgent financial hurdle. I need to raise $20,000 CAD to cover my upcoming tuition fees, mandatory program gear, and textbooks. Without these funds, I will lose my student status and will be forced to leave the program right before reaching the finish line.
