Hello everyone. My name is Bababunmi but everyone calls me Babu. I moved to Canada as an international student to pursue my lifelong dream of working in public safety. Currently, I am enrolled in the Protection, Security and Investigation (PSI) diploma program at Mohawk College. I have just 2 semesters left. My ultimate goal is to become a licensed Private Investigator, using my skills to uncover the truth and solve complex cases. However, I have hit a critical financial roadblock that threatens to cut my education short.

I don’t just study security,I live it. To help support myself and gain hands-on experience, I currently work in the security industry as a bouncer. This job has taught me real-world crisis de-escalation, risk assessment, and how to keep people safe under pressure. Every single day, I balance the exhausting physical demands of working late nights in security with the heavy academic workload at Mohawk College. I love what I do, and I am fully committed, but the soaring costs of living and studying in Canada have become too heavy to carry alone.

As an international student, my tuition fees are significantly higher, and I face strict legal limits on the number of hours I am allowed to work each week. Despite saving every dollar from my bouncer shifts and exhausting my family's savings, I am facing an urgent financial hurdle. I need to raise $20,000 CAD to cover my upcoming tuition fees, mandatory program gear, and textbooks. Without these funds, I will lose my student status and will be forced to leave the program right before reaching the finish line.

Every single dollar raised will go directly toward keeping me in school:International Tuition Fees: Paying off the remaining semesters of my Mohawk College PSI program.Books & Program Gear: Purchasing mandatory tactical gear and advanced investigation textbooks.Basic Survival: Covering essential rent and transit to campus so I can successfully finish my classes.

By supporting my campaign, you aren't just helping someone pay school fees—you are investing in a dedicated professional who is already working hard to keep Canadian communities safe. If you are able to donate, even a small amount, you have my deepest gratitude. If you cannot give today, sharing this link with your network would mean the world to me.Thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in my dream, Babu.
