We are also able to tell you that the children have beds and matresses on there way. So we are looking for more funding to buy bed linen, a stove and a toilet, this will meet the basics for this parent. please read the story. Back in February a Ugandan lady, Mariam, reached out to see if i could help a woman and her 4 children. When she showed me the plight this family was in I couldnt turn a blind eye.

Together with a friend of mine, Miles, we have been able to dress and fund the school fees for the children to go to school.

The mother, Salimat digs fields, washes clothes for the people and carries water to feed her children. The house (shed) has nothing at all inside so I recently paid for a small extention but the house needs beds to lift the children up from the floor and avoid snakes. They need a toilet, and a pollutant free stove to cook on.

Once we can give her the basics of life we hope to help her become self sufficient by helping her start her own business.

The money will go directly to the family and you will be sent step by step updates from Mariam, the wonderful woman who had a similar start in life so is very much aware of deprevation.
