Hi, I’m Sophia, and I’m heading back to Africa soon to volunteer with two incredible community initiatives:

✨ A community project in a slum area, supporting vulnerable children and families

✨ A safe house for teenage mums and their babies, offering care, safety and support

These are places full of strength, love, and potential — but often with very few resources.

Why I’m Fundraising…

My goal is to take something meaningful with me: a suitcase full of books, toys, and creative resources to support learning, development, and wellbeing for the children and young mums I’ll be spending time with.

With your help, I hope to fill the suitcase with:

• Story sacks for reading and play

• Craft materials for creative activities

• Toys and baby items for the safe house

• ✏️ Learning tools to support early childhood development

• And anything else that brings colour, connection and care

Where Your Money Goes…

100% of your donation will go directly toward purchasing resources.

✅ The extra suitcase is already included in my luggage allowance — so no donation is spent on transport.

️ Any funds not spent before I travel will be used to buy additional supplies locally once I arrive, supporting both the children and their families.
