My name is Alexandra! I'm 34 years old and AuDHD, as well as disabled ( POTs, long covid, weakened immune system ).

Back in December I was faced with a very difficult choice to either be homeless or move in with a family member who claimed to want to help me get out of the pit I was stuck in at a job with a boss who was sexually harassing me. Unfortunately, within a month of living where I am now, that family member began to show their true colors and became extremely aggressive, going as far as to verbally, emotionally, and even physically abuse and assault me. He has repeatedly drained my funds because he doesn't know how to manage money and insulted me and called me horrendous names when I don't give him money. :<

Thankfully I landed a good job at last and now was recently approved for an apartment! Yippeeee!! So the purpose of this fundraiser is to help me escape the abuse as soon as possible. At present, the apartment complex is looking for me to pay 2.4k to move in and even with my good job, it would still take me about 3 months on my own to save up for it, between bills and trying to hide money from my abuser. I've set the goal to 3.5k just so I can buy a bed and some very basic furniture, as well as necessities. I don't need anything extravagant, I just want to be free. I'm so tired of crying every day and ending up in the hospital due to stress worsening my heart problems.

Nearly every day I am faced with constant beratement both emotionally and verbally, and am often punched, kicked, and slapped if I don't give him money. It's really been a struggle just to keep myself afloat but I'm doing what I can, and I just want to be out of here sooner rather than later.
