Help me complete my internship in Cambodia

Hi, my name is Louis-Philippe. I'm a 17-year-old junior from Brooklyn, NY where I live with my parents, my sister Juliane and our dog Eloise. I'm looking to raise funds to help me fulfill my internship with Projects Abroad in Cambodia.

This summer and with your help, I will like to spend time learning about funding, financial planning, entrepreneurship and working with others who are trying to do good in underdeveloped countries. I will be working with local NGOs where I'll be studying microfinance and have the opportunity to be in Phnom Penh for four weeks. Where I will support entrepreneurs in disadvantaged communities to promote economic development on a local level, providing business training and interest-free loans to those wishing to expand their small businesses.

As some of you might know, last year I was fortunate enough to study abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina for four weeks where I improved my Spanish and learned more about Argentinian culture. This year I will not only be able to learn but also give back to local communities. Talking about giving, I could really use your help in making this dream become a reality. All donations are welcome and greatly appreciated. This experience is unpaid, I will incur costs for such things as flights, the Projects Abroad program fee, and room and board. I plan to contribute a significant portion of my own funds to this endeavor, as well as funding through sponsorships and fundraising events. I am also relying on the help of my friends and family.
