My name is Matilda Fleberg, I’m a choreographer & movement coach based in Stockholm Sweden. In 2022 I opened my first studio, Fleberg Studios: The dance medicine studio, with the mission to create a safe space for people from all ages, backgrounds and abilities to enjoy the healing powers of dance.

Dance is the medicine- with mindful movement we reconnect to our bodies and heal physically, mentally and emotionally. Every day, I teach classes in person and online, and over the years, a beautiful global community has grown from this shared belief.

Now, I’m ready to take the next step—and I need your help.

My mission is to create a permanent space where the Dance Medicine Studio-community can grow:
A studio + boutique retreat hotel by the water here in Sweden, where both international and Swedish students can come to dance, practice, connect with community, and rest. A place where dance and healing live side by side.

To begin this process, I’m raising 3 million SEK (around $390,000 USD) to:

• Buy land in a peaceful, natural location by the water in Stockholm Sweden

• Begin architectural planning and development for the studio and retreat space

• Lay the foundations for a unique, long-term home for our community

Our goal is to open the doors in 2028.
