I am fund raising for a school in Falaba district in Sierra Leone west Africa, where my father comes from. My Father, through the grace of God had the privilege of being adopted out of Falaba and attained a good education. I’m sure globally, we all believe that no child should be forced to study in outside in such circumstances, or in a dangerous environment. With access to a good education, children can escape poverty. In Falaba, many children are forced to study under makeshift straw shelter, being exposed to the elements, distracted, and unable to learn. Many of these children are left feeling cold, wet, and ruining their work. Please would you kindly help me to build a safe and secure classroom, so that children can focus on their learning, and their futures. Intense sun, or violent rain, would disrupt lessons and make it impossible for children to learn.
