Hi, my name is Justin, and I would like to build a multi sport court for Central a university in Sierra Leone!
After getting the opportunity to meet the chancellor of Central University, Dr Muckson Sesay, I was amazed by his story of incredible successes in starting up a technology training centre that would eventually gain recognition and develop into the university it is today.
After having the opportunity to aid the university in a past project, I would now like to go back to build an asphalt surface multi sports court to bring intro and extra mural sports to the university and surrounding area.
Measuring approximately 50 x 80 feet, this court would allow for competitive matches of basketball (the students current favourite ) volleyball, tennis, hockey, etc… and would provide seating for officials and team members. The basketball is currently being played in the parking lot and will be moved to the new site in the picture above once construction is complete.
While the current fundraising goal is the estimated cost for materials and labour, any funds that may exceed the university’s needs, would be donated to student scholarships through Hope For Education (Registered Canadian Charity No. 70387 2747 RR0001).
No funds whatsoever will be used to cover my transportation or room and board costs while working on this project, and I intend to be there boots on the ground working as a labourer until the project is complete! Currently I would like to have the project completed by March of 2026! Ambitious, but possible! Especially with a bit of help
For any information on Central University, please have a look at the school website at: www.central.edu.sl

With your help and support, I know we can make this happen!!
I would be happy to answer any questions (assuming I can ) by email at my address in this fundraiser.
Thank you everyone!!
