Hi, my name is Maritza and I am reaching out to you to ask for help to relocate my sister Flora and bring her to live with me to Texas. Most of you who are receiving this probably know already that in the past 18 months we lost our father Jose and our brother Guillermo. That left just the two of us left in our family. Flora also lost her two beloved pets, Nano and Ginger in the same time period. She has been trying to deal with all this loss and changes in her life as best as she can but it has taken a hard toll on her and her health-both mentally and physically. The economic situation in Puerto Rico is very difficult as well and she has lost her job as well. With us living so far from each other it is very difficult for me to provide her with the support she needs and I am very worried about her. If I can relocate her to live with me she won’t be alone living in the house that has many wonderful memories of our upbringing but also the memories of her being the one that found both of our parents deceased. In order to be able to get there to Texas and get her the medical attention she needs, I need help too. For that reason and as much as doing this goes against every instinct and fiber of my being, I have to recognize that I can’t do it by myself. So I am reaching out to my village and to anyone else that may find it in their hearts to want to help to get some financial assistance to cover the expenses of her relocating, preparing a room for her and getting her the medical assistance she needs over here as soon as possible.
