My name is LaShawn, and I’m chasing a dream that’s been simmering in my heart for years: launching Big Back BBQ, a food truck like no other — serving the freshest, most flavorful BBQ in the LAND!

Here’s a little about me: I’m a wife, a proud mom of six amazing kids, a serial entrepreneur, a truck driver, a cancer survivor, and a student finishing up my fourth degree. My journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been fueled by faith, perseverance, and the determination to build something lasting for my family and my community.

Big Back BBQ isn’t just about food — it’s about creating experiences, bringing people together, and building a legacy my children can be proud of. I’ve poured my heart, time, and resources into making this dream a reality, but now I need your help with the final piece: purchasing and outfitting the food truck itself.
