Baking has always been a passion of mine, and volunteering with Cake4Kids has given me the opportunity to use that passion to bring joy to children in need. Every cake I make is tailored to a child's unique request, whether it's a favorite flavor, color, or theme. I want each cake to be as special as the child receiving it, and that means going the extra mile with decorations and ingredients.


However, the cost of supplies can add up quickly. When I started, I covered all the expenses out of pocket, but as I take on more cake requests, it’s become challenging to keep up with the demand and still provide the level of care and creativity each child deserves. Each cake is different, and I often need to purchase specific ingredients or decorations to fulfill a child's wish.
