Help the Shihab Family to start a new and safe life

Hi, my name is haya shihab,I am 26 years old, the daughter of a family of 10 people, and extended to a family of 70 people.
I study architecture. The year I was going to graduate, this war began, which destroyed our lives and dreams.
After a lot of thought and after several months of war, I decided to start a fundraising campaign so that my family and I could leave Gaza,to save our life, but this decision will cost us a lot, and we have already lost everything we have in this war.
In the heart of Gaza, my family, shehab family , like countless others, has been thrust into unimaginable hardship. The ongoing conflict has not only forced us from our home but has also subjected us to the cruelty of fraud in our most vulnerable state. This proposal aims to bring attention to our plight, raise awareness about the broader suffering in Gaza, and seek support to rebuild our lives.
The Evacuation
The relentless bombardment and violence have made living in our home impossible. Our family, along with many others, had no choice but to evacuate to a tent camp. These camps, while providing some shelter, lack the basic necessities that make life livable. Sanitation, food, and security are constant concerns. The transition from a home filled with memories to a tent that barely shields us from the elements has been devastating both physically and emotionally.
Immediate Need for Evacuation:
To secure their safety, the Shehab family must urgently evacuate to Egypt. However, the journey comes at a significant cost. Each family member requires $5,000 to pass the border and enter Egypt safely. This amount covers transportation, documentation, and necessary permits for a secure passage.
The Fraud
Adding to our misery, we became victims of a heartless scam. A GoFundMe campaign, which was supposed to help us gather funds for basic necessities, was hijacked. The funds raised by kind-hearted individuals worldwide were stolen, leaving us with nothing. This betrayal not only deprived us of much-needed financial support but also shattered our trust in the systems meant to aid us.
The Broader Suffering in Gaza
Our story is just one among thousands in Gaza. Families are enduring unimaginable suffering. The war has left deep scars, not just in the form of destroyed homes, but also in the psyches of its victims. Children grow up amidst chaos, their laughter replaced by cries of fear. The constant threat of violence and the harsh living conditions in tent camps make the situation unbearable.
Objectives
1. Raise Awareness: Share our story with the world to highlight the personal impacts of the conflict and the added suffering due to fraudulent activities.
2. Seek Justice: Appeal for investigations into the fraudulent GoFundMe campaign to ensure the perpetrator is held accountable and the funds are rightfully restored.
3. Humanitarian Aid: Mobilize resources and support from international communities and organizations to improve living conditions in the tent camps.
4. Long-Term Solutions: Advocate for lasting peace and reconstruction efforts in Gaza to allow displaced families to return to a semblance of normalcy.
Conclusion
Our family’s suffering is a microcosm of the broader tragedy unfolding in Gaza. By sharing our story and seeking support, we hope to shed light on the dire conditions faced by many and mobilize the global community to act. Together, we can work towards alleviating the immediate suffering and building a future where families in Gaza can live in peace and dignity.
This proposal seeks not only to address our immediate needs but also to contribute to a larger movement for justice and peace in Gaza. Your support and solidarity can make a difference in the lives of those who have lost so much.
