A Cry from the Heart of Gaza

Hello, my name is Issa Zakaria Issa from Gaza.

Each chapter of this war has written a new line of pain into my life. I once lived a simple life — I worked hard, supported my family, and dreamed of a better future. But the recent bombings changed everything.

️ I lost my home, my job, and even the laptop I relied on to earn a living with dignity.

My family and I fled our neighborhood, seeking safety — only to be bombed again at my aunt’s house.

And in that devastating moment… I lost my little daughter to the Israeli strikes.

We escaped to southern Gaza, hoping for refuge — but another tragedy awaited us there.

Despite the heartbreak, I tried to rebuild what I could. Thanks to kind and generous people, I managed to meet some of our basic needs.

But the suffering continued. We were forced to flee once again — from the south to central Gaza, then back to the north.

There, I saw the home of my dreams — the one I had imagined since childhood — reduced to ashes. Everything was gone.

The war paused briefly, but then Israeli forces attacked our area again. My family and I were injured, but by the grace of God, we survived.

Now, we are living in a tent in Gaza City… under unbelievably harsh and inhumane conditions.

Cold, hunger, fear, loss, trauma… all we want is a chance to survive.

That’s why I am humbly asking for your help to cover the costs of travel coordination, so we can at least save ourselves and begin the life we have always dreamed of — away from the bombing, the fear, and the rubble.
