Hi everyone. I’m reaching out because I’m trying to get my 3-year-old twins into a safe and stable home as quickly as possible.

I recently had to leave an unsafe living situation with my kids dad. Right now, the kids and I are sharing one small room, and I’ve been doing everything I can to get us into a safer environment. I’m not eligible for assistance or any loan programs, and I’ve fallen short of the move-in costs.

I do have a boyfriend who has been an amazing support emotionally and in the kids’ lives, but he lives separately and is unable to help financially. He’s currently paying for his own room rental and doesn’t start his new job until December 8th. Even with his support, the financial part still falls on me right now.

I’ve found an apartment we can move into soon, but I need $2,500 for move-in fees (deposit, first month, and required upfront costs). This is a one-time emergency need that would allow my twins to have their own space, their own beds, and a safe home where we can start fresh.
