SAVING LIVES & EMPOWERING FAMILIES FROM LAND SLIDES:
A 2024 CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE & 2025 NEW YEAR GIFT
Your generous support will help us deliver important information timely, help families to access the nearest shelters, health centers, and resettlement homes before, during, and after disaster emergencies for the next 12 months. This includes:
1. Launch a Community Radio Station-Resource Center in Mbale to communicate information timely, to predict, prevent, and control disaster impacts in the Elgon region
2. Train 1500 Disaster & Emergency Management Volunteer workers including mental health providers and maternal healthcare specialists
3. Purchase 20 Motorbike ambulances, along with fuel, repairs, and driver support
4. Provide food, clean drinking water, clothing and basic necessities to individuals and families affected by landslides
