My name is Mazen Breem.
I was born and raised in Gaza — a place that holds so much more than rubble and headlines. Gaza is my home, and my heart.
As the father of five, the eldest brother in a large family, and a leader in my community, I’ve always carried the weight of many. I’ve led with love, faith, and quiet strength. Every day, I still try to stay strong — for them. But the truth is: I need help.
Before the war, I was building something beautiful — a life filled with peace, purpose, and joy. With my own hands, I built a home for my children. It wasn’t just concrete and stone — it was the dream I was giving them: safety, dignity, and a future.
Now that home is gone. Flattened in seconds.
Everything I worked for, everything I protected, reduced to dust. My children sleep under the open sky. We have no shelter. No certainty. Just survival.
But Gaza is more than grief.
It is beautiful.
Olive trees still grow from our soil.
Children still fly kites — even under drones.
We are a people of deep love, long memory, and unshakable spirit.
But the suffering here is beyond what anyone should be forced to endure.
Food is scarce. Water is scarce. The price of bread has more than doubled. Medicine is almost impossible to find.
This campaign is not just about rebuilding walls.
It’s about restoring life — a safe place to sleep, to heal, to dream.
