I have known Maya for 25 years and watched her continuously give her many communities, so much energy, attention, organizing and time. She has been so generous and asked for so little over the years. This last couple of years has been a very difficult transition for her and we, as her community have an opportunity to support her as she has supported us. The cost of moving, paying for storage and cat care, etc. is more than she can financially handle at this point. If all of us pitch in, it will go a long way. I know you all love her very much and want the best for her. Also, if you have folx in your other communities that are blessed with abundance and generosity and understand the need for income re- distribution for senior disabled folx, please pass this on to them as well.
