We, Maksym (Max) and Dmytro (Dima), are reaching out to ask for your support in covering the legal fees needed for our immigration process to Canada.

Our story began in Ukraine, where we were forced to leave our home due to war and persecution. For many years, we dreamed of starting a family, but social and political restrictions made it impossible. Canada became our refuge and a new beginning. As a token of gratitude for the safety and freedom this country has given us, we got married on July 1, 2023—Canada Day.

The first months in Canada were challenging, but we were fortunate to be supported by friends and neighbors who showed us how warm and welcoming a new country can be. With their help, we began rebuilding our lives from scratch. We work hard every day to create a stable future, but completing our immigration process requires assistance from qualified legal professionals. The cost of these services is far beyond what we can afford, which is why we are reaching out to kind-hearted people for help.

We cannot return to Ukraine due to the war and other social and political issues. Our dream is to stay here in Canada, where we can finally be free, live safely, and keep our family together.

Any support—whether it’s $1 or simply sharing this fundraiser—will make a huge difference. We are deeply grateful for your kindness and assistance, which will help us move forward and inspire us to support others in need in the future.

We continue to work hard to earn enough money to make a living and save on everything to accumulate and preserve funds. And now we realize that even such measures are not enough. The funds collected from you, along with the money we earn, will be directed toward paying for legal services related to our immigration. This is very important to both of us and is our priority.

We have no doubt that we will obtain permanent resident status in the near future and, later, citizenship. We believe in this with all our hearts and are working toward it. This is an investment in our future. The hardships are in the past, and we wouldn’t wish anyone to experience what we’ve been through.

We don’t have much time to earn this amount on our own, which is why we are reaching out to you. Rest assured that all funds will be used to pay for legal services, fully aligned with the purpose of this fundraising and our goal.
