Help Maurice Williams's Wife and Kids

Hello everyone. My name is Ron and I am doing what just seems right in this moment; raising money to support Maurice J. Williams' wife and children as they prepare to lay a true Patriot, Husband, Father, and Friend to so many to rest.

I met Maurice in the 10th grade at Woodrow Wilson SHS in Washington, DC. It was early on in our friendship that I knew this dude wasn't ordinary, he was someone special. Mo was the best teammate you could ask for as he always put things in proper perspective and offered words of encouragement during times of adversity.

Fast forward to the social media age where it became crystal clear that this dope teen I knew from years ago had become a man of great character, a Man of Honor. Maurice married his high school sweetheart and from their union, created three wonderful children. We often talked of stocks, politics and his love for good cigars.

Maurice was truly our Black Panther, a real life hero to so many as he exemplified what real manhood is made of. Through his entire battle with cancer, only his closest friends knew of his struggles. No hospital selfies, no sympathy posts. Instead, Maurice surrounded himself with his family and fought his battle in true marine fashion.

And now, as Maurice, a selfless provider and protector has transitioned, I humbly ask for your support. Whether you knew him or not, this is a family in need--in need of our support and kindness. His wife and children would never ask so I am asking for them. They have already endured so much-- a wife alongside her love, children alongside their Dad. As a man, you always want to provide for your family. Let's do our part to ensure that his legacy lives on, and his family can grieve with a little less burden on their shoulders.
