Hi,
From now until next summer I will be training extensively for the biggest challenge of my life so far, the Journey of Hope. This 2,800 mile biking event takes place every year through my fraternity, Pi Kappa Phi. Starting in San Francisco, CA, brothers of this fraternity will travel across the country on bike, with the end destination being Washington, DC. Along this route, we will stop in towns and cities and hold events with people with disabilities. The main goal of this is to spread empathy and acceptance across the country as we meet with organizations along the way that support people with disabilities. Another main aspect of this adventure includes fundraising for the experience, along with donations to help individuals living with disabilities. As a sophomore student at The University of Connecticut, I’m searching for sponsors who might want to assist me on this journey. Every dollar raised will help me achieve my goal of $6,500 to travel across the country and help those with disabilities.
