Help Matt Brown fund his HOPE SQUAD
Donation protected
I have had the honor of working alongside Matt Brown, a man who cares deeply about the community and people he works with each day. Matt has had a dream to fund an old ambulance to serve the southern Maine area. Per his words: "with a group of like-minded volunteers, outreach the unhoused with food, clothes, recovery resources and most importantly provide a 'ministry of presence' to those that have no voice, who are often invisible. To help communicate the incredibly important message: we see you, we hear you, you matter."
Matt has dedicated most of his life to supporting and standing by individuals who are unsheltered, struggling with substance use disorders and mental illness and often have been pushed aside from all other networks of support.
I am asking anyone who can, to support this dream of Matt's and get this project started! Matt has identified a potential ambulance in Portland to purchase and I want to be able to be one small part in helping Matt fulfill his dream and begin a new way to outreach, support and provide for the people of Southern Maine.
