Help Masjid Ibadou Rahman Obtain Full Ownership

As-Salamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah.

Masjid Ibadou Rahman is a masjid located at 183rd Street and Walton Avenue in the Bronx (mostly known as 183rd mosque by most of its beloved members).

As we embark into the blessed month of Ramadan, we are reaching out to you with hope and aspiration for the future of our masjid. Our beloved masjid has served as a source of blessings and comfort in our neighborhood for many years. Growing up in the neighborhood, many of us attended the masjid to learn the Quran, gain Islamic knowledge and form everlasting bonds. However, we currently find ourselves in a challenging situation in our attempt towards attaining complete ownership and securing its future.

Your contribution towards our fundraiser during this holy month will count as a Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) and will go directly towards the cost of the masjid’s property, allowing us to gain full ownership and eliminate any uncertainties regarding its future. Your donation will not only preserve the physical space of the Masjid but will also contribute to the spread of Islamic knowledge while strengthening the brotherhood and sisterhood in the Muslim community.

As narrated by Uthman ibn Affan: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned, “Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.” [Sahih al-Bukhari]
