Help Masjid Al-Nur purchase the existing property

"Those who in charity spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve" (2:274)

The Central PA Muslim community is growing in leaps and bounds, and with it the need to have a wider space for the community to pray and gather at the Masjid.

By the grace of Allah, the owner of the current Masjid Al-Nur property has accepted the proposal of Masjid Al-Nur to buy the property so we can expand it to fit the needs of the community, In shā Allāh. The community stepped up in the past to pay for the initial needs, and now we are at a point where we are short of $250,000 to reach half the payment for the property, at which point the building rent will be shared by the community and the owner.

"Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve" (2:277)

Let's step up again and help this beautiful community have enough space and capacity to meets the needs of the growing community. With a larger space there are a lot that can be achieved, including hosting programs properly, having enough space to meet the educational needs of our kids, having space to host interfaith, social events, etc. properly, and much more.

We need your support now to reach our goals so Masjid Al-Nur community, located in Mechanicsburg, PA, can have our own space that we all can call home and feel home, In shā Allāh. تعقد بمسجد النور برامج عديدة للجالية المسلمة بمنطقة بنسلفانيا الوسطى،منها:

•⁠ ⁠تحفيظ القرآن الكريم، حيث يتخرج معدل خمس حفاظ كل سنة.

•⁠ ⁠برامج تعليمية للأطفال والنساء يوميا.

•⁠ ⁠الصلوات الخمس والجمعة يحضرها مئات المصلين من المنطقة.

المسجد في حاجة الى مساعدة مالية لدفع المبلغ المتبقي لشراء المكان. تم بحمد الله التعاقد مع صاحب البناية، وحجمها 55 ألف قدم مربع، على سعر اجمالي للمكان وهو 2 مليون دولار ونصف، من غير فوائد ربوية وتدفع على أقساط، وتم دفع مليون دولار . لكن المساحة المسموح للمسجد استعمالها صغيرة ولا يمكن التوسع حتى يدفع المبلغ الكلي.
