Help Mary & Jaime Through This Heartbreaking Time

2025 has been an incredibly difficult year for Mary and Jaime. Just when they thought life might finally be turning around, they were hit with another devastating blow.

Mary’s mother, Beverly—a cancer survivor and the heart of their family—suffered a massive heart attack last week. She has been in the hospital ever since, in critical condition, fighting for her life. Mary has not left her mother’s side, while Jaime has been home caring for their children, Dominic and Mia, and trying to hold everything together.

This heartbreaking situation comes at a time when the family was already struggling. Jaime had only recently started a new job after being laid off just before Christmas and being unemployed for nearly five months. The stress of that long period without income, combined with falling behind on mortgage and credit payments, also took a toll on Jaime’s own health. Now, with Beverly’s hospitalization, Jaime cannot work, as his priority has been caring for the kids and supporting Mary in any way he can.

This family is doing their very best, but the financial strain has become overwhelming. They are facing mounting bills, daily expenses, and the heavy emotional weight of watching their beloved mother and grandmother fight for her life.
