Neil Silberblatt has entered hospice care today. Voices of Poetry and friends of Neil Silberblatt have created this fundraiser to alleviate some of the financial burden of funeral, health care, and memorial expenses for his beloved wife, Mary Ann Demello. Neil is the founder of the grassroots poetry organization, Voices of Poetry, through which he has produced hundreds of poetry events, featuring emerging and established poets and artists at notable venues such as libraries, museums, and literary landmarks.

Neil is a poet himself and a lover of words. He has hosted "The Poet's Corner" for WOMR/WFMR, and through VOP events and his social media outreach, he has established a vital place for poetry and poets. He needs us now as he begins his final journey home.
