Help Mary and Ron Recover from Scam

Hello, my name is April Burnham and I am raising money for my mom Mary Dunlap and my step dad Ron Smith. This just breaks my heart. My parents were involved in a scam that they lost all of their life savings of $30,000. These scammers prey on the elderly and scare them so they think they have no way out. Yes, there are detectives on this case but it's highly unlikely that they will ever see this money again.

I just ask that maybe people can have a little kindness in their hearts and help my parents out. This has made them not want to trust anyone or even answer their phones. I hate seeing how devastated they are. I also ask that you please keep an eye on your parents, check with them all the time. Make sure that nothing is scaring them or that someone has threatened them. They scared them so much. They were scared to even reach out to me. These people knew how to get to my parents and they ended up losing their life savings.
