My name is TS Marvina, a transgender woman and the leader of a small group of 7 LGBTQ+ asylum seekers currently living in South Sudan our second country of refuge after we were unable to find safety and protection in Kenya.
We are survivors of discrimination, violence, and displacement. Today, we are trying our best to rebuild our lives with dignity, but our situation remains extremely fragile. We live together in a small safe house, which is our only protection. However, keeping it running has become very difficult.
We are urgently seeking support to help us cover our most essential needs.
What Your Support Will Provide:
• Monthly rent for our safe house so we don’t become homeless
• Food supplies for all 8 members
• Medical care, including clinic visits and medications
• ❤️ Special care for members living with HIV, who need consistent treatment
• ⚡ Emergency cash box for crisis situations (security risks, medical emergencies, relocation needs)
