Dear Friends of Yuvadee and Marvin,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Yuvadee’s passing. She was a beloved mother who cherished her son, Marvin, with all her heart. Marvin, a special-needs young man, has now lost both his parents—his father passed away six years ago, and now, with Yuvadee’s loss, his world has been profoundly shaken.

As many of you know, Marvin holds a special place in Yuvadee’s heart and in the hearts of those who know him. A dear family friend, Rin, who has been part of Marvin’s life for over 20 years, took immediate steps to ensure his future care. Just two days before her passing, Yuvadee signed a special needs trust, thanks to Rin’s swift action. This trust was established to honor Yuvadee’s wishes: to ensure Marvin remains in the home he shared with his mom and to prevent him from entering foster care or a group home—options that would not suit his needs.

To maintain Marvin’s stability and routines, which are essential for his well-being, special care arrangements have been made. Marvin will continue living in his home, but his care requires financial support. The fixed cost of $1,500 per month includes overnight care provided by the homeowner, while two additional shifts are needed daily to ensure Marvin’s needs are met.

Rin has a wonderful bond with Marvin and is fully committed to caring for him, but the financial burden of these arrangements and other associated expenses is more than Rin can manage alone. On behalf of Yuvadee and Marvin, we kindly ask for your support to help cover the costs of Marvin’s care and to keep him in the home and routines that bring him comfort.
