Please HELP US! My name is Marty, and I am reaching out for help during a very difficult time. Recently, I brought my only car to a mechanic for a simple oil change, but something went terribly wrong and the engine was blown in the process. Apparently, the mechanic is not liable. This car was a generous gift from my sister and brother-in-law, and it has been my lifeline. I am elderly, living on Social Security, and I care for my daughter Mia, who suffered encephalitis that went to her brain 15 years ago. I do not have any money. CRISIS! We are in an awful situation, no one ever expects to be in themselves.
Without a car, its like living a nightmare.. I am unable to run needed, basic errands, getting groceries, or transport myself and Mia to our many doctors’ appointments and hospital visits. I can't imagine having problems getting our prescription meds. I constantly fear what would happen in an emergency. Not having reliable transportation puts both of us at risk, and I feel unsafe knowing I can’t get help or provide it if needed.
Please, I am asking for help to be able buy a reliable car, nothing fancy, so I can continue caring for my daughter and manage our health needs. Any help would mean the world to us and would restore a sense of safety and independence to our lives. Thank you for considering our situation and for any support you can offer. God bless.
