Help Marshall Recover from Trauma

Marshall was brought to us at 4.8lbs on April 23 by a good Samaritan who noticed she was dragging her legs. She came from a little village in Ohio called Marshallville, so her foster decided to call her Marshall!
Marshall had been through some sort of trauma which left her right rear limb damaged and pulled up towards her body while she walked, while painfully putting weight on broken toes on her left rear limb. She had been this way for a while, which led to the bones healing in the wrong positions, cellulitis, and painful septic arthritis-a bacterial infection in her joints.
Marshall was not a candidate for amputation due to the broken toes on her weight-bearing leg. Luckily, we were able to treat her and give her a chance at a better quality of life!
She is currently on bedrest, being given lots of fluids, and monitored through the day. She is being treated for her septic arthritis, and her pain is being managed around-the-clock.
