Donation protected
When a fire broke out in a 7-story highrise in Berkeley on Nov. 21, Marsha Tolliver, who lived next door, fled without clothes or shoes. So she spent her hotel funds on buying pants, a shirt, and shoes and had to sleep the next few nights on the street. The room she rents is still off-limits as it is water damaged.
