Hello, my name is MarQuest Edwards.
I’m an international, published, award-winning photographer born in Jamaica. Much of my immediate family still lives there,
my brother, sister, aunties, uncles, and close friends. Many of them were directly affected by Hurricane Melissa, and I’m asking for your generous support during this difficult time.
My goal is to help my family members rebuild:
• Repairing roofs and damaged homes
• Providing food, clothing, and shelter
• Helping them recover from losses that Jamaica’s limited resources make extremely hard to overcome.
My aunt was in the final stages of completing her home after 4 years of hard work, and now everything has been set back to square one. Unlike America, Jamaica doesn’t have accessible insurance systems or quick relief options.
when disaster hits, families are often left to rebuild on their own.
To contribute in every way I can, I also dedicated a full music album to this cause. It’s available on all platforms to download or stream for free on YouTube. All support from this project will also go toward helping with the rebuilding efforts.
Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference. My plan is to help one family at a time, starting with those hit the hardest.
Thank you so much for your love, kindness, and support. It means more than you know.
